Sunday, March 18, 2012 at 8:04AM Is this not the cutest little computer you have ever seen?
My old laptop wasn't charging properly and it'll take several weeks for the new part to arrive. Meanwhile I'm on a tight writing deadline! I had to spend two days shopping for a new one, getting data transferred, etc., but now I'm back in action.
When I have a little spare time I'll search for polka dot wallpaper to jazz up the desktop, but I'm loving the flowers. What do you think?

Friday, February 17, 2012 at 12:34PM Coleslaw is one my favorite salads but I've never had any luck with the dressing. Now, after a long and lengthy search and much experimenting in the kitchen, I've come up with a recipe I love.
Lee's Coleslaw Dressing
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup plain yogurt
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 cup finely chopped sweet red onion
salt and pepper to taste
Mix al ingredients in a small bowl. Pour the dressing onto the slaw and toss. Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.

PS: I make coleslaw with shreeded green or red cabbage (or a combination of the two), grated carrot and grated apple. A firm, tart apple like a Granny Smith works best. What do you put in your slaw?
